As the storm was coming in on Saturday, we went to the pool at
church for a little down time. Mrs. Goode worked with Hayden on his
swimming. |

| Our weekend guests returned to Lake Jackson on Tuesday, 9/16/2008 to find
little damage to their home, but a lot of limbs were down in the yard. Fortunately,
much of the food in their freezer was still good (some still frozen) after no power for 4
days! There was no power or phone service, but the cell phones worked, and they had
some power from the generator they found at Costco in San Antonio (lucky find).
