The last day we went did a guided tour of the "Friends of Zion Museum" and then went to the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and other exhibits.
Dead Sea Scrolls building at the Israel Museum.
These are the only "shoes" John took, and they walked many miles from one end of Jerusalem (Sea of Galilee to the other (Dead Sea).  They were destined to be left in Israel, but at the last moment they found their way into a suitcase.
We left a few Shekels behind when we left. Their paper and coin money is certainly prettier than ours.  One US dollar buys about 4 Shekels.
Mimi and Lucas watching a final movie.  There was a lot of close time the last day!
A little bed talk.
Melissa took us to the airport Tuesday morning.  There were more than a few tears on both sides.  We had no problems in either Ben Gurion or Newark (immigration, customs), but the flight to Houston was delayed about 2 hours which made it even easier for our close connection.
