East Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Last day in Israel
Bedouin camp on the way to the Dead Sea
GP wore the new shirt Melissa got for him.

Panoramic view from our "tent".
Legs float better than the head, so the head is submerged if you try to swim on your stomach.  Many drown in the Dead Sea trying to swim.

Lucas accidentally flipped over and got very salty water in his eyes; it really hurt.
The lowest bar in the world, 1,388 feet below sea level .
We had lunch overlooking the sea.
Do I really want to do this?
Mimi and Lucas.
Not the most elegant floating, but floating none the less.  GP did a much better job, but there is no proof.
Many abandoned buildings left by the Jordanians when Israel seized the land during the 6 day war in 1967.
Sand everywhere.
Outside temperature on the return trip to Jerusalem.
