On the East trail, John heard squirrels fussing and found this red tailed hawk waiting for dinner.  The hawk was about 100 yards away and almost directly in line with the sun (a very difficult picture to take).
The hawk flew away as John approached.  This was a BIG bird!
It was a foggy start to Friday when Jill and Barry were due to come out to hike and do crafts.
John & Barry hiked the East Trail.
